Sip Tea, Spill Tea, & Flaunt Tees: A Mom Ditch Day Party!
Tees and Tea!
Our mommy group is at it again! We sipped the tea, spilled the tea, and showed off our tees! Welcome to Mom Ditch Day, where moms take a break from it all to celebrate ourselves! We throw our day party event 4 times a year to do nothing other than chat, laugh, dance, laugh some more, and sip on fabulous drinks! Our last theme was “Black Friday Came Early,” in line with the upcoming holiday season. But this time we let our hair down with silly, sarcastic, and sassy slogan tees with our “Tees and Tea” theme.
The Tees and Tea planning committee (above) spent 3 months planning an event we knew the mamas would love. And because we are EXTRA in everything we do, we couldn’t settle for a boring and stuffy tea party. Not only were our festive designs custom-made and fabulously sassy, this event was also filled with cackling laughter, hilarious dancing and *ahem* mature language as we partied the day away!
The first hour was spent sipping on an amazing assortment of tea and mingling to catch up with each other. The paper flowers and black tea dresses were hand-made.
Every mom received a custom tea/coffee/wine mug (it’s against the rules to ask anyone to confirm the contents!)
When girlfriends get together, Boomerangs commence. How else does one showcase their glitter lips?
We played “A Diva’s Memory,” where each mama had 10 seconds to memorize the contents of this tray and write down as many as they could remember… all mama pamper items, I may add.
